How We Prepare Our Yachts for the Season

When a new charter season begins, most guests see a clean deck, polished stainless steel and fresh linen. What they do not see is the work behind it.

Preparing a yacht for the season in the Fethiye region is not a cosmetic process. It is a technical, structured and time-consuming operation. Especially in bareboat charter, reliability is everything.

1. Technical Inspection Comes First

Before anything else, we carry out a complete mechanical and system check. This includes:

  • Engine service and diagnostics

  • Saildrive inspection

  • Fuel and cooling system checks

  • Electrical systems and battery testing

  • Outboard service

  • Generator and air conditioning controls

  • Navigation electronics calibration

  • Fresh water and plumbing systems inspection

  • Safety equipment control

  • Deep cleaning of water and waste tanks

  • Shipyard haul-out and underwater maintenance

Every system is tested under load. Not only switched on — but properly tested in real operating conditions. For us, a yacht is ready only when we are confident that an experienced skipper will not face unpleasant surprises at sea.

2. Hull, Rig and Safety

Next comes the structural and sailing-related inspection:

  • Standing and running rigging checks

  • Sail condition control

  • Winch servicing

  • Anchor system testing

  • Bilge system inspection

Safety equipment is not just counted — it is inspected. Expiry dates, pressure levels and functionality are all verified.Bareboat guests rely entirely on the condition of the yacht. That responsibility is taken seriously.

3. Deep Cleaning Is the Final Step — Not the First

Only after technical readiness is confirmed we move to detailing and cleaning.

A clean yacht without proper maintenance is just a polished problem. Our priority is always functionality first, presentation second.

4. Young Fleet, High Standards

Our fleet consists of 2024 and 2025 models. We operate in the Fethiye sailing area, where warm temperatures and an intensive charter calendar require continuous technical attention throughout the season.

New does not mean maintenance-free. Proper maintenance keeps the yacht reliable and looking newer for longer. Each yacht is prepared with the mindset that we would personally sail it with our own family.

5. Delivery Day

On check-in day, the goal is simple:

The yacht must be exactly as expected. No explanations. No excuses. No surprises.

Clear briefing, transparent documentation and a technically prepared yacht — this is how a charter week should begin.

A well-prepared yacht does not attract attention. And that is exactly how it should be.
